Notes
Information supplied by photographer: I work as a computer tech and on my way home from Hanover area I started taking
pictures on Tuesday afternoon about 3:30.
#0 was on Monday my backyard. 1-18 are from Peyton Hwy going north to Falcon Hwy
and west through Falcon to 24. #9 is Briargate Pkwy Memorial Hospital down to the
Shoppes at Brgt. ending at my backyard. I was pulling over and snapping pics. The fire
appeared to be a huge storm cloud with smoke underneath it.
The Memorial Hospital picture was just before the smoke laid down and the fire
exploded(?). It was clear until Chapel Hills and Briargate Parkway and then the smoke
was so thick we had headlights turned on. We stopped at PF Changs for takeout and
headed back east and stopped at King Soopers at Union and Briargate Parkway. The
smoke was now on the ground here too. It was difficult to breath.
We then headed home #14 my backyard.
I wanted to see if I could capture some better pictures so I then headed down to the
Shoppes at Briargate west side and that's where 15-18 come from. I'm sure there are
much better ones.
