- On the last day of the year, the AdAmAn club faces the cold, winter climb of Pikes Peak to shoot off fireworks. This year, Pikes Peak had very little snow. 1
- Some local people like the lights the Hill's placed on top of Pikes Peak, some do not. Unlike other issues where people were undecided, EVERYONE had an opinion about the lights on top of Pikes Peak. It's a matter of taste, not informed opinion. 1
- Two men crawling in desert see City Council rescue ahead. Water? No, they turned out the lights (all except two) on Pikes Peak. It was a big issue in the city. Water is a big issue in the city. 1
