- A large group of warmly dressed men and a few women are gathered during a YMCA convention on the snowy Hanging Bridge on the railway through the Royal Gorge. Several U.S. Army musicians in uniform stand at the front of the group. 1
- Approximately 2,100 steel cables come together at either end of the bridge. 1
- Buildings line the far side of the Royal Gorge. 1
