Stagecoach

Details

Image Number001-1403Dateca. 1899DescriptionA stagecoach overloaded with baggage and topped with deer antlers is stopped at a sod-topped log cabin with two men nearby. Researcher’s note: The round format and size of the print indicate the photograph was taken with a Kodak #2 camera that was produced 1889 – 1897. The round format masked the distortion inherent at the edges of the lens mounted in the camera.PhotographerGarrett, John W., 1865-1937LocationMeeker (Colo.)SubjectStagecoachesHorsesCollectionMargaretta M.
