Details

Image Number006-497DateSummer 1976DescriptionCloseup of window and weathered vertical log siding of shed covered with vines. Situated behind the Evans ranch house at 7315 Hodgen Road, it is identified as a former stagecoach stop and warming station. It is probable that the stage stop preceded the arrival of J.G. Evans in 1885, by which time the Denver & New Orleans Railroad spur to Eastonville had been installed.
