Image Number006-611DateSpring 1976DescriptionBuilt in 1914, this was originally a gable-end cabin, probably with a screened-in porch in front. In the remodeling process, concrete retaining walls were added forming a carport underneath and checkered asbestos siding added to the enclosed porch area. Located at 426 Corona Avenue in Glen Park, an area just south of Palmer Lake that developed as a summer resort populated with rustic, wooden homes and was the site of the Rocky Mountain Chautauqua Assembly.
