She was a well-known horsewoman winning many trophies in horse shows in Colorado Springs and Denver. She was the secretary-treasurer of the Pony Club and wrote many articles for “Western Horseman” and other Western magazines. Edith Kearney died July 6, 1972 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
